Admittedly, this is an incredibly shameless plug, we are wrapping up this informative week of opportunities across South Australia with a bit about us, the Flinders Automotive Solar Team.
You’ll find our membership agreeable at the very affordable price of zero dollars. Currently, we are working together towards the goal of competing in the 2019 World Solar Car Challenge, as you can see from our progress shots below! We are always accepting new members of all skill levels from across the disciplines. Our group offers a chance to participate through practical experience with building and designing the car or as part of our media department.
Here at FAST we plan social events throughout the year to give students a break from their studies. Anything from game nights to interactive and engaging public lectures. Our Facebook page promotes fun opportunities throughout the year to network and engage with the STEM community in Adelaide. We like to encourage all areas of STEM while raising funds for our solar car. Together we are even working on an outreach plan to work with local schools to get young students excited about solar technology!
